Olenasduallyfeather, a mare Clint accepted into his program just a few months before the event, earned the 4-Year-Old Open Championship under the guidance of friend and fellow trainer Darren Simpkins. The two cut to a 220.5 to earn the prestigious title and a check for $100,000. With a 217, Clint and Moms Stilish Cat tied for the Reserve Championship for another $62,266! Olenasduallyfeather, aka “Katy” also carried her owner Lisa Hewitt to the Non-Pro finals the same night!
Kelle Earnheart and her gelding Cancan Reyvolution led the Non-Pro composite score to make the 4-Year-Old Non-Pro finals. The pair drew up last in the 20-horse field and still tied for 7th place! “Guido” also earned

Clint also made the 4-year-old finals on Moms Stilish Cat, owned by the Durants, and Blue One Time, who cut to a 219 for a top 10 finish! In the 5/6, another 219 on Stilish Rey earnedried his owner, Rick Ford, to Reserve in the Amateur! Congratulations Rick! Clint's success in Tulsa continued into the Breeder's Invitational, one of the biggest limited aged events of the year, when he secured two Open Derby Finals spots. A 216 on Prime Time Kat, owned by Kenneth Jackson earned a top 10 finish and $17,370, which was matched by another $14,545 for topping the Sale Incentive bonus, followed by a finals finish on Stilish Rey, owned by Jerry and Vicki Durant. Also on the list of money earners at the B.I. was Shady Lil Kitty, who Clint guided to a top 10 finish in the Open $10K finals.

Clint has had the 5-year-old gelding, owned by Dave and Georgia Husby, ng since the horse's 3-year-old year and has made numerous finals on him, accumulating more than $67,000 in winnings prior toin traini the Ardmore show. Clint also made the 4-Year-Old Open finals on Shady Lil Kitty, owned by Waggoner Ranch, and Sunset Color, owned by Jerry Durant for a total of more than $26,000 in winnings from the event.
Kelle Earnheart, one of Clint's successful Non-Pro customers, also made the finals on Wicked Stick, a mare she recently purchased from Clint's program.
Prior to the Arbuckle Futurity, Clint made the Open finals on Never Reylinquish and Royal Magnificat at the Tunica Futurity and the Bonanza Cutting. He also made the 4-Year-Old finals at the Tunica Futurity on Prime Time Kat, owned by Kenneth Jackson, for a total of more than $45,000 in winnings in just three events! Clint Allen - NCHA Futurity Open Finalist/ Customer Wins Non-Pro!
With the 2010 events already underway, Clint Allen and his customers have tipped their hats to a great 2009! The successful regimen Clint has established throughout his career continues to reap success for himself and his customers, while providing the cutting horse industry with highly trained horses and a solid foundation for numerous non-professional riders that rely on Clint to improve their showmanship skills.
In recapping on a stellar 2009 that sent Clint soaring past the $2 million mark, he finished off the year with more nearly $330,000 in winnings to reach lifetime earnings of more than $2.3 million!
Highlights from last year include a Open finals finish at the 2009 NCHA World Championship Futurity where Clint finished in the top 10 out of nearly 700 entries on Stilish Rey, owned by Jerry and Vicki Durant. Their 217 garnered a $69,715 payoff and a promising year ahead for the pair. But Clint's success at the Futurity didn't end in the Open. His talents as a teacher shined through when his customer, Kelle Earnheart, won the Non-Pro Futurity! Kelle posted a 219 Badgers Perscription, a mare that was actually behind in her training when Clint started riding her just one month before the Futurity. Also on the list of Futurity finalists was Shane Plummer, who rode SDP Rubys Cat, another great horse trained by Clint, to the Non-Pro Futurity finals!
It's been less than one year since Clint set out on his own as an independent trainer after serving as resident trainer at Wrigley Ranches for four years and his skills as a horse trainer and a teacher have been substantiated with the success of his customers in the past year, as well as prior.
Adding to his success in the show pen, 2009 brought about many positive changes for Clint's training operation and his family. Clint and Shayle welcomed their third child, Max, in January of last year, not long before Clint set out to train independently.
Prior to the NCHA Futurity, Clint claimed Reserve Championships at the Brazos Bash and the Music City Futurity, following finals finishes at numerous events throughout the year, including the NCHA Summer Spectacular and Super Stakes, the West Texas Futurity, the Breeder's Invitational and the Augusta Futurity.
While the annual statistics of top Open riders aren't in yet, Clint ranked No.5 in the Mid-Year Cutting Statistics, provided by Equi-Stat, and remains in the top top bracket of leading NCHA Open riders.
2010 Abilene Spectacular
The next stop for Clint will be the Tunica Futurity, held in Tunica, Miss., Feb.1-9. The event ranks in the top 10 of NCHA approved events and reached nearly $570,000 in total payouts last year.
Oct. 8, 2009 - Clint Claims Two Reserve Championships!
The Music City Futurity, held Sept.9 -13 in Franklin, Tenn., welcomed 671 entries and paid out a total of $648,754. Clint earned the Open Reserve Championship in the Classic/Challenge finals on Faith In My Cat, owned by Tom Lyons, and made the Open finals on Clearcut Cat, owned by Dave and Georgia Husby. He also made the Futurity Open finals on Chief Hawkeye and Wicked Stick, placing in the top 10 and earning a total of $21,100 at the Music City Futurity.
Less than a week later, Clint geared up for the Brazos Bash, which took place Sept. 25 - October 4, at Silverado on the Brazos in Weatherford, Texas. This time it was Chief Hawkeye that Clint guided to the Open Reserve title in the Futurity with a 219. Clint also got two 4-year-olds back in the Open Derby finals and Faith In My Cat in the Open Classic/Challenge finals for a total of $24,770. The Brazos Bash reached a total payout of $767,915 and catered to 602 entries.
The NCHA Futurity kicks off Nov.22 in Fort Worth. These is what these guys (and gals) work hard for all year! We invite everyone to come be a part of the excitment! The event has $1 million in added money this year. Last year it reached almost $4.4 million in total payouts and saw just under 2,000 entries! Aug.23, 2009 - Clint No.5 Open Rider
At the NCHA Summer Spectacular, Clint made the Open Derby finals on Royal Magnificat and the Open Classic/Challenge finals on Clearcut Cat, both owned by Dave and Georgia Husby, for a total of $17,368.
Most recently, Clint had a great show in Amarillo at the West Texas Futurity where he won all three Gelding classes and brought six horses back to the Open finals, making him the only rider to make the finals on two horses in each division. He made the Derby finals on Royals Magnificat and Hay Maker, owned by Scott Cusick, and the Classic finals on Clearcut Cat and Faith In My Cat, now owned by Tom Lyons. Last, but definitely not least, Clint placed third in the Futurity on Chief Hawkeye, a horse owned by Jack & Susan Waggoner, that Clint marked a 225 on to win the Gelding class. Clint also made the top 10 in the Futurity on Wicked Stick, owned by Brian Britton, for a total of nearly $40,000 in Amarillo!
This year, Clint has made the finals at every event he's entered and has taken on some great new customers after making the move from Wrigley Ranches to training independently out of Silverado in Weatherford, Texas.

In the 4-year-old finals, he made the top 10 out of 210 entries on Royals Magnificat with a 216 and also earned a finals slot aboard Purdy Feather for a total of $11,500! The Abilene Spectacular, Jan.2 - 13, welcomed a total of 689 entries and paid out $870,000.

| The 2008 NCHA Summer Spectacular has come to an end after three weeks of rigorous competition between the country's top cutting horses and riders. Known as one of three of NCHA's Triple Crown events, the NCHA Summer Spectacular is one of the highest paying events offered. This year 1,608 entries vied for a total payout of approximately $2.3 million! Once again, horses ridden and trained by Clint Allen soared to the top of the competition. Clint made the Open 5/6-Year-Old finals on Wood I Never and finished in the top five out of 230 entries on Buffalo Ranch's stallion, Hydrive Cat. Clint also placed in the top five in the 4-Year-Old Open finals aboard Tim Brewer's Peppers Stylish Cat. The 4-year-old competition of the Summer Spectacular welcomed 260 entries. |

June 3, 2008 - Julie Wrigley Wins BOTH Non-Pro Classes at B.I.!!!
Clint Allen and the team from Wrigley Ranches had an outstanding show at the 2008 Breeder's Invitational, held May 14-23 in Las Vegas. Not only did Clint get three horses back to the Open Classic/Challenge finals and two back to the Open Derby finals, but Julie Wrigley also won BOTH Non-Pro divisions!
Clint was the only rider at the Breeder's Invitational to get five horses into the Open finals. He placed third on CD Graceful Dual, and in the top 15 on Faith In My Cat, owned by Wrigley Ranches. Cats Glamour Girl, owned by Dave and Georgia Husby, served as Clint's third Open finalist after the two won the go-round with a 220.
In the 4-Year-Old Open finals, Clint placed in the top 20 out of 160 entries on Special Nu Kitty and Docs Dual Dodger, totaling his winnings at the Breeder's Invitational to more than $38,000.
The Breeder's Invitational is one of the biggest shows of the year, trailing behind the elite NCHA Triple Crown events. This year it paid out more than $1.2 million to nearly 600 entries.
NCHA's second Triple Crown event of the year, the $400,000 added Summer Spectacular, is next on the agenda for Clint Allen. It kicks off July 14 in Fort Worth at the Will Rogers Coliseum. Visit www.nchacutting.com for updated results and live webcasts throughout the show.
May 6, 2008 - Clint Allen 5X Finalist at Cotton Stakes & Classic
The Cotton Stakes & Classic, held April 25 - May 4 in West Monroe, La., garnered Clint five trips to the Open finals between the Open Derby and Open Classic/Challenge.
Clint finished third in the Derby out of 100 entries on Special Nu Kitty with a 218 for $18,374. He finished in the top 15 on Smart Stylish Pepper, owned by the Brewer Ranch, and Docs Dual Dodger, owned by Wrigley Ranches.
He also made the Classic/Challenge finals on Faith In My Cat and CD Graceful Dual to claim a total of $28,374 at the Cotton Stakes.
The show welcomed 437 entries who vied for a total payout of more than $628,000!
April 23, 2008 - Clint Allen Open Finalist at Super Stakes
Once again Clint Allen made the Open finals at one of cutting's largest events, the NCHA Super Stakes!
Aboard Hydrive Cat, owned by Buffalo Ranch, Clint led both go-rounds of the Open 5/6-Year-Old on the High Brow Cat stallion and finished in the top 10 out of 251 entries. Clint came back in the 4-Year-Old Open finals to finish in the top 15 out of 320 entries on Docs Dual Dodger, owned by Wrigley Ranches, LLC. When the dust settled at the Will Rogers Coliseum, Clint Allen left with close to $53,000 in winnings!
The 2008 NCHA Super Stakes catered to 1,224 entries, ranging from locals to international competitors, many of which traveled from Italy, Brazil and Venezuela. With $834,285, the show reached a total payout of more than $2.2 million!
The Cotton Stakes & Classic in West Monroe, La., kicks off April 25th, followed by the Breeder's Invitational in Las Vegas on May 14. February 14, 2008 - Clint Wins Open Reserve at Tunica Futurity!
The Open finals at the Tunica Futurity have wrapped up and, once again, Clint Allen has added even more earnings to his pot. Clint and his horses walked away with more than $35,800 from the event.
It was a long overdue success for Special Nu Kitty, owned by Wrigley Ranches. After the mare marked a record score for a go-round at the NCHA Futurity (227), the two encountered some bad luck in the finals there in For Worth. History repeated itself at the Abilene Spectacular and the Augusta Futurity when the two again, made the Open finals but didn't match well on the cattle.
It all came together for Special Nu Kitty in Tunica and the little bay mare showed fans that she hadn't given up. Clint drew up in the second set, following a 228 that had been posted in the first set. He and Special Nu Kitty had a remarkable run worth 224 points that earned the 4-Year-Old Open Reserve Championship.
Clint brought three horses back to the 5/6-Year-Old Open finals. Faith In My Cat, also owned by Wrigley Ranches, finished in third place with a 219 while Buffalo Ranch's Hydrive Cat posted a 216 to finish in the top 12
